ProAmpac Presents Newest Recyclable Film and Expanded European Capabilities at FACHPACK 2022

CINCINNATI (Sept. 21, 2022) – ProAmpac, a leader in flexible packaging and material science, is exhibiting at FACHPACK Hall 7/7-541 in Nuremburg, Germany 27-29 September. With an emphasis on their ProActive Sustainability® capabilities they will introduce their newest ProActive Recyclable® film R-2050. Also on display will be ProAmpac’s full flexible packaging portfolio, blown film, digital print capabilities and fresh food to-go packaging.

ProActive Recyclable® R-2050
ProActive Recyclable R-2050, is the newest addition to the ProActive Recyclable® R-2000 Series of polyethylene-based structures. Available in rollstock or premade pouches, R-2050 offers very high clarity, high drop resistance, excellent stiffness and dimpling resistance for premium shelf appearance. Designed to be a drop-in replacement for conventional multi-material laminates, R-2050’s superior heat resistance allows for optimal speeds, a wide operating window and high efficiencies on filling lines.

In addition to ProActive Recyclable, ProAmpac’s ProActive Sustainability offers flexible packaging in three other product groups within European markets:

• ProActive PCR incorporates post-consumer recycled (PCR) content to the package to meet UK Plastics Packaging Tax exemptions and brand sustainability goals.
• ProActive Renewable is packaging that incorporates bio-based resins.
• ProActive Compostable® packaging degrades in a biologically active compost environment.

Blown Film Expertise
ProAmpac manufactures a range of blown polyethylene films that are engineered to be used alone or laminated to other film or paper layers. As an expert in conventional blown film technology, ProAmpac excels at highly engineered structures designed to reduce gauge while maintaining application performance. Applications include sealant layers for flexible pouches, vertical form fill and seal films, shrink film for bottles and vegetables, industrial protective films and carpet backing.

Ideal for short print runs with low minimum order quantities, digital printing enables the launch of new products, facilitates limited edition print runs, and allows customers to print elaborate and intricate designs. As packaging volumes increase, ProAmpac can convert brand art from digital to high-definition flexographic printing.

Fresh Food To-Go
From deli sandwiches to hot wraps, ProAmpac’s fresh food to-go suite of products is designed for sustainability and built for performance.
