Packaging Design for Reduction

Join us at SPC Impact 2024 April 1-4 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. ProAmpac’s Sal Pellingra and Ben Davis are hosting a workshop on Thursday April 4^th at 9:00 am:  Packaging Design for Reduction:  Reducing carbon impact by reducing packaging while building in shelf appeal, functionality, and shelf life. 

This workshop will cover:

• The implications of reducing packaging starting with the primary packaging weight and volume but also focused on the number of packaging components, secondary packaging, product waste, and shelf life.
• Designing with appealing graphics and functionality while reducing packaging
• Real case studies of successful and not-so-successful transitions, as well as include a real-time case study with participants.
