ProAmpac Honors Champions of Safety, Sustainability, and Community

CINCINNATI (JUN. 11, 2025)—ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging and material science, proudly celebrates the outstanding efforts of its sites during the 5th annual Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Week. Held April 22–28 and themed “Our Planet, Our People!”, the event united employees worldwide in activities promoting environmental stewardship, workplace safety, and community engagement.

Aligned with Earth Day and the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, EHS Week featured impactful local initiatives—from tree plantings to student outreach—all driven by a shared commitment to sustainability and care.

2025 Global EHS Week Award Winners included:

Best Community Involvement

Hartford, WI – Partnered with a local high school on Volunteer Day, inviting students to participate in a community clean-up project, nurturing a spirit of collaboration and service among the next generation.

Rocky Mount, NC – Took part in the Rocky Mount Police Department’s Earth Day clean-up event, reinforcing community partnerships and a collective commitment to a cleaner, safer city.

Best Project

Carnew, Ireland – Embraced creativity and education through Project Butterfly by repurposing old pallets into planters donated to a local school. Children planted them with flowers and decorated the site with hand-colored butterflies, symbolizing growth and biodiversity.

Best Overall EHS Week Activities

Manistique, MI – Delivered a rich program featuring EHS Bingo, a butterfly garden planting, children’s poster contest with seed prizes, and the planting of 150 tree saplings—merging education, environmental action, and fun.

Omaha, NE – Hosted an engaging week with milkweed garden planting, safety Bingo, a kids’ drawing contest focused on safe work habits, a team grill-out, and the “Why I Work Safe” campaign, where team members shared personal reflections posted throughout the plant.
