Blown Film Extrusion

Our coextruded films offer three- to nine-layer custom-blended, blown structures that are designed to meet precise flexible packaging requirements. We'll help you select from a range of barrier- and non-barrier performance films for converters and end users, and customized films for difficult Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) applications, including hot-fill liquid, chemical, meat, dried foods, mixes and frozen foods.

  • Barrier Films – Blended to provide moisture-, oxygen- and aroma-barrier properties
  • Fresh-cut Produce Films – Customized transfer of moisture and gases; also feature excellent optics and high gloss for easy viewing of product type and quality
  • Liquid VFFS Films – A full line of films providing exceptional heat resistance, durability, sealability and barrier
  • Modified Atmosphere Packaging Films – Designed for thermal lamination to rigid sheet material prior to thermoforming into trays and bowls

Adhesive Lamination

Adhesive laminating works to improve both the barrier properties and appearance of a variety of films for flexible packaging. Our adhesive lamination also allows for higher speeds and lower waste costs. We operate redundant facilities so that we can accommodate every customer’s adhesive laminating needs, as well as ensuring uninterrupted service and quality.

ProAmpac laminated films combine solvent and solventless capabilities with vibrant, ten-color flexographic and state-of-the-art, eight-color rotogravure printing to provide quality converted Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) and Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal (HFFS) rollstock.

Laminations can be custom designed for the medical and pharmaceutical markets with Drug Master File compliant structures.

Extrusion and Lamination Coating

Offering multiple extrusion coating/laminating lines with varying width capabilities, ProAmpac, produces a variety of products and substrates for flexible packaging applications. There are numerous advantages of using the extrusion coating process, including less expensive raw materials and improved structural stability. Extrusion lamination structures can range from simple polyethylene coated papers to sophisticated multi-layer laminations (up to eight layers in one pass).
